Playboys – Amuto Chapter 9.2

Amu's P.O.V.
     
     Suki was talking to, I believe Kukai, on her phone till Ikuto was
in view. I stared at him as he walked this way until he was right in
front of Suki and me.

"Amu…" Ikuto mumbled, something was off, very off. I looked deep into
his eyes and all I saw was sadness and confusion. Than I thought to
myself, 'Did I do this to him?'

It seemed I wasn't the only one who noticed what was in his eyes, Suki
could also tell something was up but I think she knew what was wrong.
I wanted to know now, why was he like this. I was still mad at him,
although I have this urge to comfort him and make all his sadness and
confusion go away. But, why do I feel this way?

"Oh my god, will you two just go ahead and fucking make up already!"
Suki yelled and we both looked at her, stunned that she could
understand how we were feeling.

"A-Amu, we need to talk." After he said that, he turned to face Suki
and asked, "Can we have some privacy, please?"

"Since you asked nicely, I believe I could do that."  And with that,
Ikuto and I were left alone to talk.

"Amu look, back there you didn't let me finish what I was trying to
say before you ran off with Miki." He started.

"Well, what was it Ikuto?" I asked curiously.

"I'll tell you tomorrow, but for now please, don't be sad. It breaks my
heart to see my strawberry like this." He smirks. Oh my fucking god he
was back to calling me his 'strawberry' again. How did he just seem to
change his moods like that?

"Fine…." I groaned. Then I went to go get Suki so we could all go to
bed.


~Next morning in Language Arts aka Blood Dupre's class~


I sat right behind Suki. She introduced me to her cousin, Lunaria. She was beautiful! She and I got along very quickly, I was so
happy to make a new friend! That's when the school announcements came on
and guess who was speaking. It was no other than the playboy himself,
Ikuto Tsukiyomi.

"Good morning, I would like to make a short announcement before we start
school today," He said. "I the playboy, Ikuto Tsukiyomi, have decided to
drop the title as a playboy. You want to know the reason why? Well, it's
because I met someone who I have grown close to ever since she came here,
her name is Amu Hinamori."

I was shocked and my face was fully red, I never would have guessed when
Ikuto said he would tell me tomorrow meant 'I'll say it aloud on
announcements!' I returned to earth when Ikuto started talking again,
but this time it was directly for me.

"Amu, I'm sorry if I have hurt you but the truth is I believe I'm
starting to fall for you…" That's when the announcement ended and our
teacher walked in. I felt like I was about to faint, Ikuto just confessed
to me ALOUD on the school announcements! My heart was beating like crazy
till the point I thought it would explode. Suki turned around to face me,
she smiled at me sweetly which told me 'You go girl! You just got
yourself a boy who is willing to give up their ways for you!' I blushed
even more from that because it made me realize that he actually did give
up his ways of a playboy just for me. My thoughts were interrupted by our teacher, Blood Dupre, which made Suki and I, face front to meet eyes with Mr.Dupre, who seemed to have some news to tell us.

"Class, today we have a new student." He said calmly.

I could hear people saying stuff like 'Another one? Didn't we just get one
a few days ago? Oh what was her name, I believe it was Luna?' But I really didn't care obviously putting on my 'Cool 'n' Spicy' act.

"Class, meet Ace Knight." When he walked in we were taken away by how
handsome he was! He had brown hair that was shaggy and a bit messy, blood
red eyes which looked just like Peter's, and on his uniform had a red tie. That's when I noticed Ace and Suki had locked eyes, and guess what they
were both blushing light pink! Finally, Suki had her first crush and who
can blame her? This guy was seriously good looking! Luna and I looked at
each other and giggled at the sight of the 'soon-to-be' lovers. Even the
teacher noticed! But, he held in his laughter and ended their staring,
though he was just like us! He also wanted to get them together because
they obviously were destined to be together by fate. So, he sat Ace in an
empty seat beside Yoru, who somehow got transferred into this class.

Throughout class I swear to god I saw in a corner of my eye, Ace drooling
over Suki. I wanted to laugh so much! It was his first day here and he
already had a crush on someone. I guess love is really strange and unique
in its own sort of way.

When class was over, Ace was brave and went over to talk to Suki, while
Luna and I eavesdropped from the door in the hallway. Ace flirted,
complimented, anything a guy would do just to impress the girl he desired.
The conversation soon had to come to an end when Suki looked at the time
and noticed she was about to be late to her next class.

"I-I got to go!" She stuttered somehow and ran off without noticing Luna
and I. When she was out of view, we looked back at Ace. He was smiling,
probably because he felt good that he was brave enough to talk to his
crush without a flaw. This was surely starting to be a really fun
rollercoaster ride.

I wonder what will happen next….
